A Brief History...
In 1976, Chang and Myong An arrived in Albuquerque from South Korea with the dream of a better life for their young family. Chang began working for a local florist as a custodian and it was there that he discovered a passion for plants. Chang eventually left the shop to start his own business in custodial services, but his love of plants brought him back to the plant business and “An’s Plant Rental” was born. The rapid growth of this business required finding a facility much larger than a small 3 bedroom family home. In 1980, the discovery of a small run down greenhouse on rural Osuna Road was just the right opportunity to expand.
Although there have been many changes over the years, some things will always remain the same. Knowledgeable and friendly customer service has always been at the heart of Chang’s business philosophy. Today, Osuna Nursery is still recognized as a unique local shopping experience and a place where you will receive friendly, personal service and professional advice. Osuna Today...
Osuna Nursery has grown from a small half acre greenhouse to a six acre nursery and garden center. We’re continuing to expand the facilities to provide strong and healthy plants grown specifically for the Southwest region. We also strive to be more environmentally responsible, and are always seeking products and methodologies that are safer and friendlier to the earth.
